Gforce4 4600 or Radeon 8500 Retail
I have a Radeon 8500 Retail that I bought a little while ago and was wondering if it was a worthy purchase to go out and buy a Gforce4 4600. Is it really worth the money, or is the radeon just as good?

Ya the GF4 4600 is faster but it is $400 too! Just keep your 8500. If you find your games are slowing down then you can think about getting a 4600.

don't think the Geforce 4 will offer that much of a major difference, keep the 8500.

Hum...I can run 8x FSAA in MOHAA w/ everything turned up at 1024 rez w/ my 8500. Now...do you really need more performance than that for the current games? Yes the TI4600 will give you something like 25% more performance in some games, but think about it, is that really neccessary. Can you tell the difference between 100fps and 75fps?

Nah, not a worthwhile upgrade in my opinion, unless you really have that kind of money to chuck around, Rune_X2.
The next (totally new) ATI product, the R300, should be very, very good... There's your upgrade path! In the meantime, have you looked into overclocking your current card? It's quite a bit more "fun" with the 8500's than other cards.
