new vid card with moderate cpu?

I have a computer running a Pentium 533 mhz processor on 133 mhz bus.

Would it be much use for me to buy a geforce 3 or radeon 8500 considering the speed of the processor?

I don't think you'd get the full performance out of those cards with that processor, but you might want to get the high-end video card anyways, in case you upgrade later on then you can use it in your new system. If not, you might want to get something like a GeForce 2 GTS or something of that class of video cards.
