Why is it only the crappy to mediocre video card manufacturers have their G4s for sale?

All I've seen actually available are Visiontek and PNY. Now I'm sure some of you have had good experiences with Both of these companies, all I'm saying is I've heard they are not known for producing a quality product.

When can we expect others? Asus? Leadtek? Abit? And who else makes good cards?

Don't know where you heard that, but they are good products.

Here. People here said that PNY cards are low quality. Visiontek, as I understand, are middle of the road.... that is they are what they are, and one shouldnt expect more from them.

Guess one shouldnt beleive all that they read. My bad.

I have a PNY GeForce4 Ti4600 and I wouldn't trace it for anything! Don't know where you heard any of that info...but I dont believe a word of it.

I've heard the PNY has a smaller capacitor and will fit on the Epox 8KHA+ boards. Also supposadly VisionTech is going to reduce the size on the bottom capacitor so theirs will fit too. This is very good news for my. I will likely get one twords the end of the month (if I don't get layed-off that is).
