Please help, I think I have f**ked my graphics card... but it's a bit wierd

What mobo do you have? Is it slocketed? I might be able to find some info on a mod for ya..

It would also help if you could figure out which chip was the IO voltage regulator and which one was the CPU voltage regulator and get the numbers off of them too...but you don't have to do that. It would just make it a bit quicker for me

i have a gigabyte ga6bxc revsion 2.0
and an asus slocket
sorry, i wouldn't (yet) know where to look to see which chip was which, does this mod mean a change to the mobo and not the vid card then?

Hmm I couldn't find a damn thing on that board except at gigabyte's site which didn't help much. Yeah I was lookin for something like the IO voltage regulator IC to solder a resistor on, but you would have to be comfortable with that. I'll look into the video card next...

yeah, soldering mymobo is a bit too much for me i must admit....
thanks very much for the effort duronclocker...if you find summat easy for the GTS.....I'll be waiting

lol, yeah I'm havin trouble with this. I wish you had the 8500LE too. Then you could be like MuFu and I wouldn't have to do this, lol. But I have nothing better to do and its giving me an excuse to make the 3 chicks wait that all asked me out to the movies tonite...I'm tryin to decide but can't so this is givin me some stall time to figure it out, hehe

Here's the closest I could come by so far. Its for some SUMA company and ASUS cards, but if your card has either of the two chips on there they mention, it will work nevertheless. I'll keep lookin!

EDIT: Update on that chick situation (its now like 1:30AM instead of the 7:30PM it was when I first made this post)...well I went out with one..had some fun in the movies. The other two were supposed to go out with another one of their friends. Well the one girl and her friend ditched the other girl, so now she's crying and blaming me for not going with her. Wouldn't ya love to be me right now? *cough* I hate this! *cough*

Oh yeah, back to your topic, I still haven't found anything better than the link above, but I'll keep looking!
