    why RGB?

    Why do CRT uses RGB to generate all the other colors, while we know from alimentary school that red, blue and YELLOW are the 'primary' colors? That confuses me

    i always thought it was Red green and blue.

    Regarding the article
    That also explains why color printers work with CMYK (cyan-magenta-yellow-black) color scheme

    Now, if you ask me (which I just did) this is the sort of question that made OT great in its, admittedly distant, day. This place really is getting back on its feet. Just had to show my appreciation for the scientific question and excellent answer .
