Problems with GF2 TV OUT

I can't get my tv-out to work properly,

Tried this: power off, disconnect monitor, plug in tv (s-video) to tv-out, power on, I can make out a picture but it's like the V-Hold is screwed up, the picture just rolls vertically very fast, and no color.
Can't make it to the display options as I can't see anything.

Next: power off, plugged in both monitor and tv, power on, only monitor works, tv just black, like its off. Try going into the display options but nothing there except "plugNplay" monitor listed.

System specs as below...Not using any external programs or hardware, just the tv-out that is on my gf2 pro card. and new sony tv...

HELP!!!

Okay nevermind, figured it out, had to go to have both plugged in, start win, then under device selection, tv-out, s-video etc....just in case anyone else runs into the same problem....
