    Glide and WinXP pro

I cant seem to get any games stable that use glide since i've installed winxp on my wife's pc. U.T. refuses to even start(unless i use d3d or software)Descent 3 crashes a few seconds into the game.I have reinstalled games and os(full format)but no go.Nothing is overclked and all games run perfectly in Win98se and WinMe.Sometimes i get a glide dll error,,,but not always.D3D game run fine.

Download some third party tweaked drivers for XP Pro and your 3dfx card. I have one system with a V5 5500 AGP card and I'm using some third party drivers. Glide, D3D, and OpenGL work great

I was hopeing it was an driver issue, since wife likes xp pro and wont go back to WinMe.Glad to hear glide still works on xp.Do you have any links to the drivers you mentioned?I've heard voodoo4 drivers work well with voodoo3 cards...so may go that route.
    Thanx

Check out www.electic.com as a good link to tweaked WinXP 3dfx drivers.
