Do 3dmark2000 and 3dmark2001 benchmark restlts also related with CPU?

    Hi all,

Do 3dmark2000 and 3dmark2001 benchmark restlts also related with CPU?

I mean if I make a benchmark with GeForce2 i and Celeron 850, and then make another benchmark with the same video card (GeForce2 Ti) and Pentium III Tualatin 1200Mhz, will I see a big performance increase?

    Thank you.

    YES!

    I went from a score of 2500 with a GeForce2 GTS and P3 750 to a score of 1950 changing the CPU to a Celeron1000

I didn't think that the Celeron would have done so poorly compared to a 750.... o-well guess i will have to overclock it.
