Are V-cards quiet in general?

Maybe a silly question. Just recently managed to build a near dead quiet system with an AMD 1600+. And now need to upgrade the V-card. Thinking Vision Tek GeForce2 GTS-V. Had no prior experience on such a "high end" card. Wondering whether the V-card noise be a problem? Sure hope it does not ruin all my previous efforts. Can any1 give a ball park number regarding dba levels for the stock fan?

All vid cards that I've come across have quiet OEM fans. they're rarely very noisy.

That said, tho, the Blue orb running at 12v can be quite annoying, the solution I used was to run it at 7v.
