few extra FPS in XP
Wow... Someone already probably thought of this on winNT but I've been sticking with the 9x until XP... Anyway
Before I start a game, like always, I close down every program. Then I hit alt+ctrl+del and go over to the processes tab. I "end process tree" explorer.exe (and a few Notrons utilities). I then use File->New Task within the TaskMan to start the game.
It might just be me, but I'm getting a few extra fps...
Oh, my sig is WAY out of date...
