I know very little about these video cards,for that matter any video cards,how are they at performance,does the GEFORCE TI 64MB DDR RAM out perform GEFORCE GTS PRO?.thanx for any help on this.

that thing will fly on an athlon,PIII or duron system. Athlons are pretty cheap, even the new Xp's. To get max performance out of your current board, a k6-3 might help, but to see a real difference a later generation chip and board is needed. Heck a duron at 400Mhz would smoke any chip of that generation at same clock.
The pentium IV to me just represents a big consumer scam, it has it strengths, but its weaknesses and price just don't valiadate them, the athlon has proven that at lower clockspeeds it equals or even beats a PIV at hundreds of Mhz higher, the new duron core has its strengths too, but imho its price is too close to the Athlon Thunderbird to valiadate it as well. You may very well get a 800-950 duron extrememly cheap, like over here a 750 only like 25 quid
its up to you in the end, you may very well be happy with the new card and current chip, but you will not be 'unleashing' the full potential of the card by a long shot
Yikes'i already just put in a new p5-99vm super7 mother board,since the other went dead on me.Anyway i'm probly leaning towards a new AMD T-BIRD,i have a few bucks saved up.either store bought,custom made,or i might try to build it my self.Thanx for everyones help.
