    Output to TV through video machine problem

    I am trying to play dvd's to my TV. As I dont have the necessary video in jack on my TV, I am trying to go through my video machine.

    I have connected my laptop to the video machine using the video out port (RCA) on the laptop to the video in on the video machine. I have also connected sound.

    When I switch the video machine to A/V IN and play a dvd I am getting sound but no picture!

    Sounds like you need to setup you computer to output via the composite-video out.

    Sometimes you just need to plug it in and switch it on (line load sensing)

    What are the laptop specs?

    It is a Toshiba Satellite 1800 series running with Windows ME
