GTS will surely win..(I've seen the comparison in www.tomshardware.com ...sorry for the administrator ... i dont mean to persuade others to switch..) 2 Pipes (MX) vs 4 pipes (GTS) will have a significant (difference) in output.

That's right. The V7700 would be way better, especially when you're playing at high resolutions (1024x768 up). That's because the V7100 (MX400) uses 128-bit SDRAM and the V7700 (GTS) uses DDR SGRAM. The reason for this is that memory bandwidth is more important than the amount of memory. By less bandwidth we see more of a bottleneck. So even if the V7100Pro had 128MB of SDRAM, the 32MB DDR SGRAM V7700 would still make it eat dust. That's the reason why nVIDIA touts the GF2 GTS as a higher model as compared to the GF2 MX/MX400. = reason for this is of course, the memory bandwidth.

You'd be better off with the V7700 cause the V7100'd make you wanna kick your screen if you'd be playing at high resolutions. It's just like the the difference between an Athlon 1.4 with 256MB DDR SDRAM and another Athlon 1.4 with 768MB PC133 SDRAM. Go get the 7700.
