    direct x problem

    Need Help!
I'm having problem with direct-x,every time
I boot up the PC the screen tells me that
    "beta direct draw expired pls.update"
I've been using the DX 8.1 beta bout 3 or 4
months ago could this be expired already?
If so is there a way to unistall DX on my
system and try installing the certified DX-8.0a anyways tried to install DX 8.0a over
DX 8.1 but the problem stays. Need help how
    to uninstall Direct X!

    thanks.

Yes, your beta version of direct X 8,1 expired. What you need to do is search for a direct x removal utility. The one I used was called DirectX Buster.

Actually, here you are... go to http://www.reactorcritical.com/download.shtml and download directX uninstaller.

After removing directX, download and install version 8.0.

There really isn't any point or benefit to DX8.1 until software supports it. You will see neglegable difference (IMO)

And not to mention DX uninstallers are not native - removing system components can really wreck your system
