How do I do a screen grab when playing DVDs?

I was watch "Meet Joe Black" the other day with the amazingly beautiful Clare Forlani.

Since, I figured that she would make a great backrgound pic for my desktop, the question is how do I make a screen grab? Do I need hardware / software? If so, what?

The easiest way is to use a player that can capture frames. The Power DVD(AKA Asus DVD /Win DVD) can do that. Also you can do a little search and find a lot of players that would do that. I’m sure there are freeware DVD players that can capture frames as pictures, do a search in Download.com & you’ll find plenty of them.
