Monitor problem

I have a DELL991 monitor that ususally works just fine, but now after reinstalling everything it doesnt

It happens when I start a game (In this case Everquest) I get the message
"Monitor working
out of scan range
change PC settings"

This message comes from the monitor, just like the "Monitor is in powersave mode" msg

What PC settings should I change?

You could try installing the INF (also referred as "driver" by some) for the Dell monitor.

You must have a disc with the inf, or maybe you can download it from dell's site.

Maybe it will work as Plug & Play monitor, but you better install the appropiate driver.
