IMHO, it's too much trouble to get it working in 4.0.3(comes w/8.0), cause they didn't link to the beta dri drivers. It doesn't even work very well when you get it done. You can download and install 4.1.0, but you have to re-compile with the newest kernel, and re-compile the Xfree package with the new kernel installed. It's a lot of trouble. I figger I'll just wait for the next release. It should be fixed by then. If you really want to do it. Go over to www.rage3d.com. There's about a 6 page thread over there explaining how to do it, problems people have had, and tons of tweaks and snags. Lemme know if you try it
