ATI All-In-Wonder doesn't capture audio?

Hi.

I am having trouble capturing audio when caturing mpegs from tv. I am using the ATI-All In Wonder 128 Pro 32Mb AGP. There is no audio captured - only the video. Even when I reroute the audio through my sound card it is not synchronized with the video, the video is 1 or 2 seconds ahead. I then read a guy goin on about this problem. Apoparantly the card doesnt capture audio itself.

Is there anyway to work this?

I am useing Ulead Video Studio Pro 4. Someone please help!

Video cards capture video, not audio.

I'm not familiar with that program, but you should be able to capture them separately and then synch them up and output them together into 1 file.

If they dont capture audio then why does the connector have inputs for audio leads? and its a TV tuner card aswell (all in 1) so it is supposed to capture audio!

yeah I tried dubbing the mpeg with audio but the video still seems to be ahead no matter what i do.

any recommendations of software other than Ulead Video Studio 4??????

It may have audio inputs, but it only passes through the video card...

The only video editing software I'm familiar with is Adobe Premiere. In it you import sound separately and then merge it into the video.

Hi

I got the problem sorted. If I try to capture at 29.97fps I get the problem, but at 25fps its OK. I think I also have to ensure that the frequency is between 11 and 44 khz. I've read people complaining that the card cannot synchronize audio and video, but it seems all you have to do is use 25fps frame rate. I used a line in to my sound card to get the audio through.
