    Would anyone still buy.....

a Voodoo 5500? I've been looking at the prices and I have to say that I'm actually considering getting one for the kid's computer (or if it runs really good, then I might just take it back! Someone was selling their 5500 for $80 or so. So gang, is it worth getting or I'am I wasting my time and money? Thanks!

well ..what Operating system are you running?
I'm not too sure that the Voodoo5 cards ship w/ win2k drivers. But you'll be pretty much limited to leaked drivers and what not

I've running Window 98 SE right now. Thanks for the reply Anitdaisu. I figured the driver's would have been an isue. Will I have problems running some of the newer games?

I wouldn't think so. I mean, although it does lose out to a GTS, it still packs a punch compared to some other cards out there. And from what I remember people saying, they said that the V5 had better FSAA performance
