    convert video cassette into DVD

    I was wondering if there is a way to convert video cassette movies into DVD

    You can convert VHS into video CD if you have a TV Card and CD-R; most DVD players will play video CDs, but they're not quite DVD quality. Another option is to just divx encode them and play them on your computer.

    I don't know if this will do what you are looking for, but might be worth a look.
    Its a little pricey, but may be worth it if you do enough volume. here is the description: The Terapin CD Video Recorder is as simple to use as a VCR - all you do is put in a blank CD-R Audio or CD-RW Audio and you can record straight from your camcorder, from broadcast programs, or transfer old recordings from video tapes to CD. Play the CD on all multimedia computers, VCD and DVD players that can play CD-R's and CD-RW's, and of course on the Terapin CD Video Recorder.
