Presario and voodoo 3

my stepdad had a presario, i'm not sure what the number model is. but i know that it has a voodoo 3 card. anyways, he is running win2k and wants to play dvd's. does anyone know where i can get him a software decoder for that card? i've checked 3dfx.com and compaq.com for updates but really didn't see anything that looked like much help. i'm sure that there was a software decoder when the machine came with 98 but he wanted 2000 on it. thanks for the help.

You can use any of the software decoders like PowerDVD WindDVD. The DVD software doesn't really care as long as it's a DirectX compliant video card. Also the Voodoo 3 has no DVD hardware assist.
