Hey, that's a pretty good marketing policy- drop the price from $600 to $400 and get people to say "wow! only $400? That's cheap for a GeForce3!" even though $400 is an insane amount of money for a graphics card, considering the market... I wonder how we'd feel if the initial price was set at $250 and then raised to $400 at release?
And you still can't play quake at 1600x1200 with full-screen anti-aliasing, heh
