Is it safe to overclocked display card?

i'm using Nvidia tnt2 M64(PCI) 32Mb.The core clock frequency(default) is 110MHz. I would like to know whether it is safe or not to overclocked it and how far i can overclock.

Need your advise too. How do i properly overclock my graphic card? There are 2 option in my RivaTnt2 properties, core clock frequency and memory clock frequency.Which one i should adjust first?

I would adjust the memory speed first as it will give you the biggest boost and also does not heat up much when overclocked.

Try taking it up about 5MHz at a time until the system becomes unstable, then go back down a bit until it is stable again.

Before you adjust the core speed, I would suggest putting a fan on the heatsink if it does not already have one as the core will start to heat up a bit with higher speeds.
