WPF using Radeon VIVO 64mb ddr

When I try to change the settings on display settings in windows 98 it says that the only options are 16, 256, and 16-bitt.
When 256, or higher is selected and the PC reset, when windows begins to load i get the error

"Windows Protection Fault. Please restart your computer."

"there has been an overflow. Try changing your STACKS value in config.sys"
What do I do?
Please help me, thanks alot.

Install DirectX 8 and the 4.13.7099 drivers?
Uninstall the old drivers first.
You can get the new drivers at www.rage3d.com
And DirectX8 at www.microsoft.com/DirectX
And if that does not work then you card might be defective.

My fiend has the same system as yours with
the same components and the latest
drivers and everything works fine.
