    Video Support for NT4.0

    Help!
I recently bought a used PC - I got no software with it - The video card is built in to the motherboard and I have no idea how to tell what brand it is. The system came with a fat32 version of Win95 but no disk. The video worked fine. Since then I installed NT 4.0, the video works but I am using the wrong driver. Now I only get 16 colors, no 256 or higher. The monitor that I'm using is a Compaq 1024.
My question is: "is there a site with information on how to determine what video card I have and/or drivers that I need" and "a step by step guide on installing the driver and trouble shooting the video system" ?

There is virtually no place on the chassis to display the model # of the machine? If there is . .i would suggest checking out compaq's website. and see if they still have support for that machien
