    NT 4.0 and Win9x = 85 Hz, W2K = 75 Hz, why ?

Win9x and NT 4.0 shows the maximum Hz of the monitor 85 Hz with my Creative TnT2 M64 32 MB.
But with W2K I only get 75 Hz, Why ?

You know, I've seen some damn long descriptions of where people live, and I was just wondering how freakin' long of a location they actually allow you to write in here. Looks like it's quite a bit. Oh well, if the space is here I'll use it!!! :)

It's probably using DCC information to report the maximum "supported" refresh rate. It may be hiding modes that the monitor thinks it donesn't "officially" support, and if so you can uncheck that box in the display properties. Depending on your video card and driver, you may be able to disable DCC information usage altogether.
