    Anyone tried This VIDEO Benchmark....>

I was tooling around the web & came accross this vid benchmark GLExcess at www.glexcess.com . Very similar to 3DMark, except not very graphically impressive.

I actually downloadedit from here: http://www.megagames.com/news/show.c...ion=downloads&

Its a small download (about 2.5 mgs).

I scored 1983 marks on it with this setup:

    PIII 800@800 (for now)
    BF6
Elsa Erazor III TNT 2 (M64)
    128 mgs pc133 cas2 Mushkin
    13.5 IBM HD

NO tweeks or o/c and Elsa's factory drivers.

    what did you get?

    BR....that's excellent.

Graphics & presentation far superior to Madonions offering.

Think we can get enough interest in this BM for the HWC clan to make the results meaningful?

    I'll have Vulpine in 4:30 seconds... :P

GLExcess runs all the way through to the very end after the credits, but crashes when it's over and won't create the score file!
