    laptop display problem

the laptop`s display shows only 1/2 the originaly size. there is a black border of 5 cm arround the display. that happend after i installed linux on my laptop and then uninstalled it again.

i guess that linux deleted some driver in the mbr. does someone know this problem? what do i have to do?

You'll obviously need to reinstall the driver. You also might have to delete all instances of your current driver before reinstalling. I had a similar issue with Windows 98.
