I can get one retail box for $60 after rebate. Good deal or not? Sounds like a good price, but is this a board you would buy if it were not on sale????

Whats the difference between Radeon LE and Radeon VE??

The Radeon LE is the Radeon 32mb 128 bit DDR w/HyperZ disabled and clocked at default at 148/148. It can easily be overclocked beyond 205/205 and the hyperZ can be reenabled via a driver hack.

The Radeon VE, on the other hand, is the business user card, very similar to Radeon Mobility. Instead of two rendering piplines you get one. Instead of a 128bit memory interface, it is 64bit. There is no T&L unit. On the other hand, it does have dual display.

I recommend the Radeon LE for general use. The Radeon VE would be an excellent alternative to someone looking at cards from MATROX.
