Rage Fury Pro driver installation problems

I just built an AMD T-Bird 800Mhz with 128MB RAM, Asus A7V133, Quantum AS 30GB.
Once Win98SE is installed, I install the 4-in-1 Asus drivers then the ATI driver from the cd and reboot when prompted. Then I attempt to change the resolution to 800x600 and reboot again. The system would reboot while loading Win98 and then ask to load into Safe Mode. I choose Normal Mode, and then Win98 says that the display adapter is not configured correctly.

Is there an incompatibility with this card and the A7V133? The ATI tabs in Display Properties are not present, and the System Tray icon is not either.

Which card in the same price range would work well with the A7V133?

    Any replies greatly appreciated.

Go to ATI and Download the Latest Driver for the Rage Fury PRO http://support.ati.com/products/pc/r...8_drivers.html

Also go to VIA and Download the lates 4 in 1 drivers http://www.viahardware.com/download/index.shtm#4in1

All should be well, install 4in1 first then reboot then install ATI drivers.........

There is a problem with older versions of the 4 in 1 and ATI drivers..........
