    Many of the OEM 32mb DDR Radeons are of the LE variety. (HyperZ disabled) BTW, the retail versions of the Radeon LE, only for sale in China, are made by ATI, while the OEM versions are made by someone else. You can read about this at www.reactorcritical.com

    Nice box.
    Software.
    If you purchase LE model and require to enable the HyperZ, do the following:
    Using the codes below (you must insert them into Windows registry), you will active the HYPER-Z function (disabled by manufacturer):
    [HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\ATI Technologies\Driver\0000\atidxhal]
    "DisableHierarchicalZ"="0"
    "EnableWaitUntilIdxTriList2"="1"
    "DisableHyperZ"="0"
    "FastZClearEnabled"="1"
    "Vsync"="0"
    "AntiAlias"="0"
    "ZFormats"="3"
    "ExportCompressedTex"="1"

    The Radeon 64 DDR vivo retail (that I just bought) has 183DDR (i.e. 366) memory, whereas I've seen OEM versions of the card for about 3/4 of the price, but with 166DDR (i.e. 333) memory. ATI's website has a vague warning that OEM specs may vary from the retail cards. The situation is the same for Nvidia's OEM vs retail cards, too.

    I did read one reviewer stating that overclocking the Radeon (both the GPU and its memory) had less effect on overall speed than he'd expected. Presumably that means that the OEM cards aren't that much worse than the retail ones.
