How to test FPS/3dmark2000

Could someone tell me how to see how many fps im getting in quake 3. I just got a new gladiac gts and im curious to know how im doing even though it seems like it working great. Also could someone give me a link to where i can get the 3dmark software.

either bring down console and type /timedemo 1 and play a demo...or when u are playing the game type /cg_drawfps 1 and it will show your fps

3DMark2000 is at Madonion's web site.

Also, after you run the demo in Q3 like Tom said, I think you have to go back to the console afterward to get the results.
