How long are the PCI and AGP Voodoo 5500's?

How long are the PCI and AGP Voodoo 5500's? I have a Baby AT motherboard and Case and can a Voodoo fit in? I can buy a bigger case but will it fit in the motherboard?

Please don't say anything about a GF2 or Radeon being better!!!

I don't have one myself but I was told once that they were about 20-25cm long.

    Its long!
I'm only going on memory but I think its a good 10 inches long!
Have a look at your mobo, and if anything is in the way between the agp slot and the end of the mobo, then I think you may be out of luck.
    Things to look for:
HDD's, CD Drives, Floppy drives, The inside of the front casing.

Hopefully someone here will be good enough to measure one for you.

BTW: I thought V5's (and all other 3dfx products) had been pulled from the shelves, by request from NVidia.

Hey! I know 10" when I see it

    sunnybhai

Its been reported at a few places, I'll have a look around to see if I can find you a link.
I dont know if its been put in practice though.

BTW: You do know that most of 3DFX has been bought by NVidia and that support from 3dfx will stop after Feb. No more drivers, etc..
And that NVIdia are washing their hands of support for 3Dfx products!

    3dfx Video Cards Pulled 03:22 PM PST - Chris "Outlaw" O'Brien - Hardware: 3dfx (76)
It looks like all of the 3dfx products are being pulled from store shelves. A friend of mine sent a memo which was sent to all Best Buy departments pertaining to having all 3dfx products pulled off of the shelves, as well as discountinued technical support. Here it is:

3dfx announced today that they have signed a definitive agreement with Nvidia Corporation to sell to them most of 3dfx's assets. With this agreement it has also been announced that 3dfx will discontinue techincal support after Feb. 15th. Concidering the nature of this product, we feel that continuing to provide this product to our customers will jeopardize their satisfaction with both BBY and the product long term.

We are asking that you pull all 3dfx skus listed below off of your shelves and hold in the warehouse. The product will then be sent during our January brown goods return. Your complete execution is needed on this.

    3916329 - Voodoo 4 4500 PCI
    3605370 - V3 3000 AGP
    4029116 - Voodoo TV 200 PCI
    3916338 - Voodoo 5 5500 PCI
    3916310 - Voodoo 4 4500 AGP
    3915927 - Voodoo 5 5500 AGP
    3605398 - V3 2000 PCI
    3764661 - Voodoo 3000 PCI

Thanks for you attention and execution of this plan.
