    anyone own a Webstar Geforce (1) DDR?

    i am asking coz i may be buying one secondhand. the advert is in AUS($)

    Hardware - Parts
    Webstar Geforce 256 DDR 32 Meg of Ram Video Card, Less 8 months. Selling due to upgrade. Can COD with extra cost. Can deliver if in Melbourne area.
    Price: 210

    i am asking becuase i know nothing about this card. anyone had any experience with this card other know of a link to a review or manufacturers site? any help is much appreiciated

    BTW: anyone know if these cards (webstar geforces) are like the magic cards where they buy cards from other manufacturers and repackage them as there own?

    All I can say about Webstar products are that
    their cheap. Make sure that the card does not
    come with inferior parts, as that is what
    cheap videocard makers do.
    In fact about a year ago Anandtech had a review of a geforce,(was not a webstar
    however made in Taiwan) that had poor 2d filters that made looking at the windows
    desktop at resolutions of 1024x768 and above
    terrible.
    Try a web search for a review of the card.
    If I were in your situation I would try the card before you buy. That way you will
    know that you aren't chucking money away.
