    V3 has a T&L! (Somekind of)

This may have been posted before, but i'm posting it anyway.
I downloaded the latest v3 drivers from 3dfx and noticed that there was a function called "geometric assist" in d3d options. I enabled it, rebooted and started 3dmark2000. I noticed that this geometric assist had enabled hardware T&L-option in 3dmark. I got about 200 3dmarks more. And q3 timedemo ran faster too.
Of course that isn't anything compared to geforce T&L but still... better than nothing

It is a software T&L that uses 3DNow! or SSE/SSE2 to do the T&L.

In that case, why do I get slower results when using software T&L in 3dmark? I quess that v3 does these geometric calculations by hardware but the results are so bad because it doesn't have a dedicated GPU.
