gaming performance

i'm torn between either the asus 7700 32mb pure and the deluxe. I know that the deluxe allows for tv-out, but i was curious to know if it offered any gaming advantage?

oh yeah, one more question. is the rumor floating around saying that the geforce2 gts cards (asus 7700) are incompatabe with kt-133 (asus a7v) true? or are they just rumours stirred up by those who made the mistake of buying the voodoo5 and are trying to regain some pride?

I dont know about your first question but the Geforce 2's work fine with any of the socket a motherboards out there.

There will be no gaming advantage between a V7700 pure and deluxe assuming you are comparing like with like, (that is a 32mb pure with a 32mb deluxe). Having said that 64mb doesn't help much unless you have got the Ultra's 4.3ns DDR sdram as bandwidth is the performance issue.

Unless you really require the tv out get the pure, I've had an Asus v7700 32mb pure since release and it is very good, would upgrade to an Ultra but not until THIS is sorted.
