    probably
but you can get motherboards with everything integrated, and a single riser slot - e.g intel i840 (i think)
but why not? because you cant upgrade.
my brother's original soundblaster 16 lasted him all the way until he got his current thing ( cant remember, some sb which came out around same time as geforce ddr) while he went thru several graphics cards.
depends how much cash you have. if you really have that much lying around, send it my way

I think the intel set you are looking for Oily is the i810e, the i840 is a high end server set with RDRAM.

the VIAGRA was the most humorously named such chipset (I swear, there is a VIAgra chipset, stands for Via Graphics enabled) it had absolutly everythin on board, graphics, sound, even a modem, but only 1 PCI and 1ISA slot, and the graphics pinched memory from system RAM, so a VIAGRA with 64 megs only has 56megs system RAM and 8megs graphics RAM.
