stability issues w/ prophet2 mx and via chipset?

Hi,

I just picked up the new card and when I get it to run I am very happy. I just haven't been able to get it stable. Currently I am using the via 4in1 4.20 and the factory drivers 5.32 for the card. I'm looking for the exact order to install (i.e. irq routing, agp, ect.). Should I reboot after each time. Thanks in advance.

I have a TNT too i'm looking forward to buy a GF MX also. All I can tell you is that my TNT was much less stable on VIA 133a than BX.

I have a GF2 MX and an EPoX 7KXA motherboard and it works really well. When I installed everything I followed this configuration guide from the AMDZone. I think the procedure described is applicable to any VIA-based motherboard. I would recommend getting the latest 4in1 drivers and BIOS before doing this.
