    Detonator 6.18 or 6.31???

    What are your experiences?
    Which do you prefer?
    moving from 6.18 to 6.31 I gained 40 3dmarks but lost 1fps average in Q3.
( I know there are newer un-official drivers out but they either run unstable or never run at all on my system)

I'd guess that in 100 games they are like 5% better in 10 of them but its not really measurable just playing the games. I think that if you want to benchmark the drivers then go ahead but without any real gain in speed I'd just say go with what works.

Its being stated that the 6.31's only benifit the TNT and TNT2 cards but no change should be seen in other cards.I have a TNT2 and will give them a try and post back but they better have something good to beat my current setup. In a few days Ill bench my new Annihilator2 and see what it spits out

In the mean time I think Sharky's review of GF2 GTS cards posted yesterday was a poor excuse of a comparison.Read my post and give your feed back.

I currently have a TNT2 Pro 32mb AGP and I would say the 6.31's are much better. They exceed the 6.18's in performance and stability. Now if you don't know, the 6.18's were really stable and I was surprised to see the 6.31's to actually do better than the 6.31's.
