    Voodoo3 3000 and overclocking

When I overclock my processor, the V3 bugs out. It shows strange things on the screen and causes windows to freeze during startup. I switched to an Intel740 and everything worked, so it isn't because of the CPU.
Has anyone encountered the same problem?

Is it a Voodoo3 3000 PCI or AGP??
Voodoo3s get quite hot, and when they start to overheat they do show strange artifacts and cause lockups just like other graphics cards. Maybe the Intel740 can stand a higher busspeed on the PCI/AGP than the Voodoo3 does. Put a fan (486-size or Pentium-size (S7)) fan on the heatsink and you should be fine.
