I need to buy a cable for my Voodoo2 to use with that and a Rage IIC. what kind of cable do i need.. like a "svga male to female" cable or so?

Yes that is the cable you would need. I have never seen one to buy though. Did you lose the one that came wiith your voodoo?

You might try contacting the manufacturer of your card for a replacement. If you do find a replacement at a local store, I doubt it will be as high quality as the one that comes with the card. 3dfx's OEMs did a great job of including VERY low-loss pass-throughs.

Well i have found a few sites that sell cables. It needs to be an SVGA m to f cable right? Would a VGA m to f cable would work?
