    Geforce2 and Games?

Does the Geforce2, regardless of who makes it, really improve the graphics of games like Sin, Blood2, Shogo M.A.D., SoF etc and if so just how much better are the graphics ?

Over what? 32 bit colour makes quite a difference and it's kind of you don't miss it until you haven't got it anymore. I had a CLAP sold it and used a Voodoo 3 for a while but had to get another Geforce as I missed 32C. Image quality wize the V5 is supposed to be king, (in games) at the moment but I can't say that for a fact as I haven't seen one yet.

The image quality will only be as good as your monitor and your eyes, at the end of the day.

All i know is i'm running all my games at 32bit 800X600 res(i bump it up to 1024X768 once in a while)and to me it makes a difference. I'm also using a Sony Multiscan and that monitor is excellent, great clarity and refresh rate. I'm actually into playing games again! Although i have to calm down because it's taking time away from my web work, lol. Al

Thanks for your replies. I mainly use my computer for games and was interested to hear some comments about game playing and the Geforce 2 cards. I will have to give it a try just as soon as some of that green folding stuff comes my way. Cheers. DD.
