3D Blaster Annihilator 2 GTS Problem

I have this card and have had nothing but trouble with it. I have used both Creative and Nvidia Fast Track drivers. I get white flashes across the screen when playing D3D games. The flashes are quick and sometimes 3 inches wide. They come at sporatic intervals and sometimes vary in color depending on the game. I have changed refresh rates to no end and nothing changes the activity. Creative has been no help.

    Any Suggestions?

Go to Creative and download the fast trak drivers - gives you a lot of options to fiddle with. You will need detonator drivers already installed though, as they are not stand alone drivers.
With these try to under clock your card to see if the core or the memory is duff.( Lower the mem clock and then try the core clock )

I have the same card and had the same flashing problem in addition to really stinky 3dMark scores (around 2000!!!) I have two suggestions:
    1. Stick with the fast track drivers. They are really easy to update...but read up on them first because fast track uses the absolutely newest non-beta drivers and the performance of each revision varies by resolution and bitplanes.
    2. Check you bios settings. I made one change and the flashing disappeared, my 3dMark score jumped to 5500, and my SETI times dropped from 10 hours to 7 hours.

I'm not absolutely sure the bios change fixed the flashing because my monitor died right around the same time (I needed a good reason to upgrade to a 19inch anyway ).

Oh, yeah... the bios setting.....I "enabled" external cache. Go figure??!!

    Good luck.
