Detonator 2 drivers and Diamond Viper TNT2 Ultra

Hi,

I've just upgraded to the Detonator 2 (522) drivers from NVIDIA, but can't get a stable picture. It looks Ok at first glance, but it has a slight tremor/flickering.

My configuration:

Diamond Viper Ultra (TNT2, 32mb)
LG Flatron 795FT monitor
AMD Athlon 500
Asus K7M motherboard
128mb internal
Windows 98SE
Directx 7.0a

I guess it has something to do with my refresh rate, but I'm not sure since it is set to optimal.

Before this I used the older Diamond (368) drivers, but had some strange crashes/freezes during D3d games (Shogun, Might and Magic 7). So I decided to try updating the drivers.

Det368 drivers gave out 85hz as the optimal setting.
This isnt the case for det 522.
So all you have to do is to go into display properties,settings,advanced,adapter,and then change to your desired refresh.
If you have the correct drivers installed for your monitor then you will be given only the rates that your monitor can handle.
If you dont then I suggest you be careful on not going too high with the refresh rate, as it can be bad for your monitor.
Go to the web page for your monitor manufacturer and get some drivers if in doubt.
Also changing the refresh rate will only be applicable to the setting that you currently have windows in.
Eg.If you cange to another resolution or colour depth you will have to set the refresh again.
But Windows will remember the setting for each change, so you only have to do it once.
