    TNT2 cooling problem

I have a asus v3800 combat TNT2 video card with 16Mb memory.I've also got the asus vr-100 3D glasses. When I play in direct3D support it plays fine for the first 1 or 2 minutes and then the glasses stop working.
The video card didn't come with a cooling fan.
Do I need one to stop this problem?
    Any help would be appreciated.

if the card didn't come with a fan, then it shouldn't need one. I would recheck everything in the system is up-to-date, such as the DirectX version etc.
