    What's the point in updating Video Bios?

    Is there a point in it?

    You would normally update the video BIOS as a bug fix (e.g. crashing video) or as an enhancement to the cards features.

    But I BIOS update can always go wrong and trash your card. It's infrequent but does happen so use with caution.

    I updated my bios and now I can run Windows 2000... wow...big deal...
    But like MOF said it can make a big deal in solving bugs and other crap.
    Yours is not to reason why, but just invert and multiply.
