how do I see how many fps I am running in quake II and Unreal???

Ok, here ya go;

Q2: hit the console key ~ and then type;

timedemo 1
map demo1.dm2 or
map demo2.dm2

Unreal: when the game is first started, hit the console Key TAB and type:

timedemo 1

And it will run through the Loop and give you an Average FPS.
