two voodoo2. Double performance?

I have pentiumIII 500mhz with voodoo2

I've read and heard that another voodoo2 doubles the performance.

I've also seen some statistics about the frame rates somewhere on the web. From what I remember, voodoo2 sli was only 50% better than one voodoo2.

Does anybody know the real facts?

With two Voodoo 2's in SLI you can run games at 1024*768, at roughly the same framerate as you would with one Voodoo 2 at 800*600.
It won't make that much difference at lower resolutions.
