Need help Desperately for Tnt2 Ultra.Please!!!!!

I've just bought a Creative Labs Tnt2 Ultra.After installing it, a black screen appears when windows98 loads and it hangs. someone help me please !!I've downloaded all the latest drivers from www.creative .com so can anyone tell me wats wrong or any other patches i need to download??


My specs are:

-Aopen Ax59pro motherboard (very old but has an AGP port!)

-64mhz sdram

-K62-400

-Creative labs Sound Blaster 64

I'm trained, I'm a geek . Iam (at the moment) unpaid.

I too just added a TNT2 ( Viper 770 ). To a 59Pro/K62-450.
No black screens, just really Shiat results.
Yesterday I ordered a Abit BH6 and a cele500.
I'm SICK SICK SICK of all the Aopen head-aches/tears. Melt down the Aopen and make it into an ashtray.

Lots of problems will be solved.

The newest drivers from the Asian Creative site has an error with the zip file. The opengl .dll is corrupt. If you used FastTrax from the North American site, you have to install it OVER a NVidia reference driver or an older version of Creative's drivers. Do not uninstall the old driver before applying FastTrax!

Go into safe mode in windows, uninstall whatever drivers you do have, and re-install an Nvidia or Creative driver. Then apply FastTrax.
