How to change AGP from 1x to 2x?
How do I change my video card from using 1x to 2x? And powerstrip doesn't work, it only freezes up windows.

Same question here. I have SY-6VBA133 and a 2X AGP board but CPUID and SiSoft Sandra reports only 1X. I e-mailed Soyo yesterday. Anybody? Thanks.
Fun. What else is there?

If everything is working fine, it should default to the higher speed. You could try using different driver revisions, which might enable / disable AGP2X.

Which video card do you own????
If you're using a Cretive board, download AGPwizard, this should enable agp2x, if supported of course.

Guillemot tech support told me my Banshee is 1X. But when I tried the Vanta, which is supposedly 2X/4X, CPUID and Sandra still shows 1X.
Fun. What else is there?

Probably you have already your agp set to 2x, but your system information programs, might not detect it well..., so they show the default: 1x.
Other thing, banshee isn't even an AGP card, it's more like a PCI card into an AGP slot...(happens the same with v3)
